Honeywell is pleased to announce its new Air Quality Monitor, an aesthetically designed, easy-to-use device, which has multiple sensory outputs to help you monitor and control the air you breathe. With 6 different allergen and pollutant readings, such as TVOCs, particulate matter, formaldehyde, temperature and humidity, along with a Honeywell proprietary IQ% output, the Honeywell Air Quality Monitor (HAQ) can give all the air quality data you may need to know to help you stay healthier and more focused.

Value to Customers

  • Tracks six distinct air quality parameters: Particulate Matter (PM2.5), Formaldehyde (HCHO), Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOCs), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Humidity, and Temperature – which may affect physical health and wellbeing
  • Honeywell proprietary algorithm which uses different sensory outputs to give an IQ% reading – a numerical value which can tell you how much your cognitive ability is impacted by the environment
  • Connectivity via a smartphone app available on both Google and Apple iOS phones which lets you see air quality trends as well as real time data

Key Features

  • Award winning design (2018 iF World Design Award) with an OLED touchscreen display, sleek plastic and aluminium alloy casing, and small, portable size
  • Smart, red, orange and green LED indicators at top of the screen to signify good or bad levels of air quality parameters
  • Battery operation with different modes like energy saving and sleep

Potential Applications

  • At Home: The HAQ can be used in a bedroom, kitchen, living room, or even on the patio, garden, or balcony (as
long as it doesn’t get wet) – keep the device near you to ensure you know what is in the air you breathe and
protect yourself from airborne pollutants and contaminants
  • Children’s Nursery: Track in real-time pollutant levels in your child’s room, so you can react instantly for their
    wellbeing
  • In Workspaces: Offices, conference rooms, and other workplaces often have elevated levels of CO2, which may
impact your thinking abilities. With the HAQ, you will know when to ventilate to ensure better concentration and
    productivity
  • In Vehicles: Cities are often quite polluted due to car exhaust fumes, combustion byproducts, harmful gases, and
other contaminants, which may be detrimental to health. The device when placed in your car can monitor the air
on the go so you can protect yourself from soot and smoke outside
  •  In Schools, Classrooms, Colleges: Students are susceptible to changes in air quality, which may negatively impact
their learning abilities, test scores, and concentration in class; environmental conditions may even aggravate
    allergies and health conditions
  • In Hotels: Helps ensure that your guests are staying in pristine rooms and facilities while travelling
  • In Healthcare facilities: Show care for your patients and staff at all levels, in places that require higher
    environmental standards
