New Circuitry Option Expands GLS Limit Switch Offerings

Honeywell has added a 2 Normally Open (2NO) option to its MICRO SWITCHTM GLS Series limit switches. BX Series Receive IECEx Approval

Honeywell has received Electrotechnical Commission (IECEx) approval for its MICRO SWITCHTM BX Series Explosion-Proof Switches. With IECEx approvals, manufacturers can specify one BX-Series switch for a machine that will potentially be used in Europe, Asia, or North America. IECEx is the Commission's certification of explosive atmospheres, and incorporates all existing approvals. Current North American UL/CSA and European ATEX approvals are superseded by IECEx recognition.

Honeywell's Model 811FM Series pressure transmitters are designed for environments where liquids, gas, or corrosive vapors occur. They feature welded, stainless steel diaphragms and hermetically sealed steel cases offering corrosion and shock resistance as well as reverse polarity protection. The two-wire 4 mA - 20 mA output has a high signal to noise ratio, allowing for cable runs up to 10 miles long. 6 DF Position Sensor Aids Stability Control

The HG1171 Series Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) Sensor is a new high-value product platform for the heavy duty vehicle (HDV) segment. It utilizes MEMS (Micro Electromechanical Sensors) technology to sense rate and acceleration information. MEMS-based IMU technology has been successfully used in aerospace applications for navigation and control (i.e. missiles, small rockets); more recently, it has migrated to the automotive industry for vehicle stability control. Design Flexibility with 91MCE Series Limit Switches

The small footprint, miniature package size, and range of user options available with the 91MCE Series, one of our OEM set global limit switches, increases ease of installation and design flexibility in existing applications. The small package size can be gang mounted for potential applications that need more than two switch circuits. Both slow action and snap action circuitry is available in addition to nine different actuator styles. Direct Acting contacts are designed to ensure the Normally Closed contact opens when actuated. Our new SNDH Series sensors give manufacturers a simple, new alternative for replacing "sensor bearing" products. By separating the sensor and bearing in electric motor bearing applications, the user can service the sensor without dismantling the vehicle to remove the bearing from the motor drive.

Measure loads from 5 lbs. to 500,000 lbs. 

Honeywell’s low-profile Model 41 and 43 precision pancake load cells are engineered to measure loads from 5 lbs. to 500,000 lbs. The bonded foil/strain gage cells feature a welded package which can be hermetically sealed for durability and are available with 0 Vdc to 5 Vdc or 4 mA to 20 mA output. The tension/compression Model 41 is designed with the threaded hole running completely through the center of the cell, with two stabilizing diaphragms welded to the sensor to reduce off-center and side-loading effects. The compression-only Model 43 features a fixed load button as an integral, non-changeable part of the cell.

FF Series Contact-less Safety Switches

High-Performance Wireless SAW Sensing

Honeywell Sensing and Control’s Surface Acoustic Wave sensing technology uses resonators, whose frequency changes when strained. The batteryless, wireless sensors operate at a high frequency to provide high measurement bandwidth and resolution as well as enhanced accuracy in a cost-effective package.

  • reduced power consumption - reduces total power supply costs
  • an enhanced level of electrical isolation between primary and secondary circuits – designed for power systems up to 849 V peak.

78000 Series Transparent Heater

Whether you’re pumping gasoline outdoors or transporting materials in a warehouse freezer, a drop in temperature can quickly freeze an LCD and render it unreadable. Honeywell’s flexible transparent heaters protect LCDs and can preserve readability in humid conditions with temperatures as low as -40° C!
Indium tin oxide technology makes our 78000 Series heaters much more transparent than standard heaters, which use resistive heating wires that can block the viewing surface. The 78000 Series heater, a low energy-consuming device, can be operated either by battery or with various other power options. Other potential applications may include LCD panels on forklift trucks, hand-held terminals and meters and heads-up displays on vehicles.
