A GKM product line extension, the MICRO SWITCH™ GKME safety switch has two pre-assembled connectors allowing for daisy-chain connections from switch to switch. Installation ease may reduce wiring time up to 50 %. Removal of any switch indicates the door is open and breaks the chain allowing for easy equipment maintenance.

Honeywell has added a 2 Normally Open (2NO) option to its MICRO SWITCHTM GLS Series limit switches. The 2NO contact configuration may be used in applications requiring 2NO contacts - one for the control circuit and one for the auxiliary circuit. This option is available on the standard size GLA Series and the miniature GLC, GLD, and GLE Series.

Honeywell has received Electrotechnical Commission (IECEx) approval for its MICRO SWITCHTM BX Series Explosion-Proof Switches. With IECEx approvals, manufacturers can specify one BX-Series switch for a machine that will potentially be used in Europe, Asia, or North America. IECEx is the Commission's certification of explosive atmospheres, and incorporates all existing approvals. Honeywell’s low-profile Model 41 and 43 precision pancake load cells are engineered to measure loads from 5 lbs. to 500,000 lbs. The bonded foil/strain gage cells feature a welded package which can be hermetically sealed for durability and are available with 0 Vdc to 5 Vdc or 4 mA to 20 mA output. The tension/compression Model 41 is designed with the threaded hole running completely through the center of the cell, with two stabilizing diaphragms welded to the sensor to reduce off-center and side-loading effects. The compression-only Model 43 features a fixed load button as an integral, non-changeable part of the cell.
